This blog represents the point of view of MartyTankleff.org,
which works pro bono with Marty Tankleff and members of his family,
friends and supporters to bring Marty's story to a wider audience in
his fight for a new trial.
In this blog we document what we believe to be the facts, truth and wider relevance of the Marty Tankleff case, in order to shed light, in the public interest, on what we believe to be the fundamental question in the Marty Tankleff story: Since all impartial observers--including law professors, journalists and authors, court officers and a retired State Supreme Court justice--who examine the case agree that Marty deserves a new trial, why is there an active campaign by Suffolk County law enforcement to keep him in prison?
The Blog is meant to complement www.MartyTankleff.org, where key legal documents and media coverage may be accessed. The blog is where we tell Marty's story and cover new developments in an effort to bring into focus the true picture of what happened in the Tankleff home in the early hours of September 7th, 1988.
