Hi Marty,
Im so happy the charges have been dropped. That LIAR LATO LOST.
There's no way to get in touch with you now, so I will just wish you a very happy and healthy life. Good luck in school, Marty. It was a long haul for you but now your life begins anew. I know you will go on to accomplish great things.
God is on the side of justice!
Best wishes,
your friend,

I watched a documantary last night on the crime channel. Looks like a cover up between the detectives and DA. Anyway, good luck. I hope you get filthy rich one day.

I watched A documentry on this today. I live in South Africa, and I had to come online and find out what happened in the end. I am glad that Marty is free, but sad at the fact that he missed so much of his life while in prison.
I am also sad about the fact that the DA, police and many ohter people were so close minded regarding the fact that other people might have done this.
Good luck to you in the future and I hope that the rest of your life is wonderful.

I live in South Africa and watched the crime channel two nights ago. I saw your story and I'm no criminal fundi or anything like that but my gosh!!!! Anyone with half a brain could see that they actually didn't do their jobs properly and they really didn't have a case!!!! how the heck did they get away with this???
Anyway - good for you for remaining so strong and so positive.
All my best wishes for you and your newfound freedom. May you soar like an eagle and rejoice in your innocence.

I can only hope that justice is served and McCready goes to jail. McCready was a dirty cop, and belongs with criminals like himself.

Marty, I'm sorry you had to spend such a long time in jail for something you didn't do. I'm also sorry that you lost your parents. Its inspiring to see that you are doing something positive after such a negative experience. You're an inspiration to me. Good Luck and once again I'm sorry for what the detectives and courts did to you.

The other question that the county and state aren't asking is how many other McCready cases were handled this way?
A review of all cases he handled should be undertaken to clear all the other innocent people this lout railroaded.

Marty I am from Venezuela, and I saw the program American Justice last night. Here, we did not have any knowledge about all your suffering. I must tell you that for me, was like it happened just yesterday. When I saw your sad face on trial, your youghtness and your eyes, my tears came out and knew you were not guilty. I couldn't sleep thinking on you, and after my children and husband went out, I began to search about you in the web. OH, my GOD exist!!! Bless you, and keep going son!! now you have a life to live with the certainty that you have many people who always believed in you. Excuse my bad English, I'm not very good writting it!!!

I am from Brazil, and watched your story in an American Justice show last night. I rushed to check the outcome of your appeals (read all decisions I could find) and was very pleased to learn you are free and will not have to face a retrial. It was classic INjustice. However, you are young, life is good, and there is plenty to live for. I wish you a happy and healthy life. May you accomplish great things and have much success in your future endeavors.

Hi Marty! I'm from southwestern Louisiana. I just watched the Oprah show on your story. I have NEVER felt compelled to write to someone featured on the show until I saw your story. First of all, congratulations! I know that nothing could ever give you what you deserve after everything you've been through, but please know that the people who watched that show truly felt for you and want you to truly exceed in the new life you've been given. I wish you nothing but the best! Thank you for educating all of us and sharing your story!

Just watched a docco on TV and had to come to the web to find out what eventuated. Absolutely rapt to find out that Marty had been freed. What a scarey thing to think the law can be so wrong and totally unjust. Best of wished to you Marty.

Dear Marty,
I've seen documentaries on your story and feel so absolutely thrilled that you are free of those prison walls. You have been obscenely wronged but I pray that God gives you the strength to dare to HOPE and work towards a lifetime of happiness. I hope you have a glorious Christmas and a fantastic rest-of-your-life :)

Dear Marty,
Have just watched your story on the Oprah show. What a travesty of justice - frightening. Thank God you are free now and can start living your life.
Good Luck

Marty I left a blog on a previous page hope you read it. However, I forgot as most evil doers wants us to do is forget those fully absorbed in "THE GREATER GOOD"... your legal team!
Please thank your legal supporters ie... attorney, investigator etc for being brave and unwavering in the truth. It had to be equally and mentally distablizing, sorting out facts from those that are master minds of discrediting truth. I commend them for knowing that they had to trust their gut instincts and listen to the voices of you and those that were speaking out to help you. I commend them on knowing that integrity is within us all not selective too only those that a system has appointed and deem themselves exempt from the truth and free to put the innocent in "harms Way".
I know that there are soo many decent people like your legal team that truly chose their careers to help those that cant help them selves, not to perform cowardly acts behind badges, titles and laws that they manipulate to serve selfishly instead of selflessly. And I know that the few ruin it for the many that are ethical.
I am so proud that your team knew that personal opinions and judgements and their egos are not the tools to be used when someone elses life is in their hands.
I hope that you all will have the means to continue to bring a voice and visibility all the way to the supreme court on such hiddeous crimes being done at the hands of those that are suppose to protect us. Maybe your legal team could find a way to get rid of that ceiling that exempts evil doers from scrutiny. I've never understood why so many are fearful of those within the system but as time goes on I recognize that the weapon used in these court rooms at times is to dis-credit all voices that they can dirty up to conceal the truth. I cant believe that D.A was allowed to serve on that case with his alliance being with someone that he defended many year ago and knew?
I was told that I'm naive and that there is more evil in the world than good. That might be true but thank you guys for saving one more MARTY. so thats one less evil... how many more to go? Thak you for restoring my faith. I knew there are more GOOD,DO BE people in this world. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.. truly a story of courage under fire.
To Those working against the good of those trying to restore the MARTYs of this planet, please find peace. If someone hurt any of you and this has led to your intents on hurting others, know that it was noy your fault and begin your healing so you can do as these braves ones and heal and help the innocent mARTYS! begin with GODSPEED!
