Suffolk County DA Thomas Spota's investigator in the Tankleff case, Walter Warkenthien is a former colleague of Detective James McCready. Admitted he told Glenn Harris that if his allegations were true he could be “trading places with Marty." According to sworn affidavits by eyewitnesses, threatened to arrest Joseph Guarascio, the 17-year-old son of Joey "Guns" Creedon, if he did not immediately talk to him about his claim that his father had confessed to him details of his involvement in the Tankleff murders. According to Billy Ram's lawyer, Warkenthien offered legal help if Ram would testify that Tankleff’s legal team bribed him to perjure himself at the hearing.
Well I noticed Warkenthien contributing over $300 to Spota's re-election campaign, yet he is on the payroll of the D.A.'s office. Nothing surprising here since that is typical of all branches of New York local and state government - but it remains, completely disingenious to think Wark. was objective, which is HIS DUTY UNDER LAW!!!!! This example alone should make Braslow take notice of the office of Spota and their conduct - but trial judges in Suffolk and Nassau are typically on the take too. Thank god I live in San Diego because the whole Long Island system SICKENS me!!!
