Snapshot: Walter Warkenthien

Img_0549The Suffolk County DA's investigator in the Tankleff case.  A former colleague of Detective James McCready’s, DA Thomas Spota assigned him to the Tankleff case before assigning ADA Leonard Lato. Warkenthien testified he still reports directly to Spota and  that he told Glenn Harris that if his allegations were true he could be “trading  places with Marty."

Well I noticed Warkenthien contributing over $300 to Spota's re-election campaign, yet he is on the payroll of the D.A.'s office. Nothing surprising here since that is typical of all branches of New York local and state government - but it remains, completely disingenious to think Wark. was objective, which is HIS DUTY UNDER LAW!!!!! This example alone should make Braslow take notice of the office of Spota and their conduct - but trial judges in Suffolk and Nassau are typically on the take too. Thank god I live in San Diego because the whole Long Island system SICKENS me!!!
