Judge Namm: You will always be a hero in my book. Anyone who does the right thing even at tremendous personal cost is an inspiration to all of us. We need more people like you in public service and less of those who continue to dominate the political scene in Suffolk County. Despite the professional and financial sacrifices you made due to your moral courage, it is my prayer that God provides you what you need for the remainder of your days.

Judge Namm what a life. What a story. Keep telling it. Your efforts certainly brought about change but despite your efforts and courage Suffolk has lapsed.

Look at the efforts that Tankleff's team had to put forth. Look at the questionable connections between those that thwarted Marty's efforts at every stage. It finally took the Second Department in surely one of the harshest decisions -- by its own standards of restraint -- it had ever written to free Marty. Even than the government still failed to live up to the high standard it is charged with -- there should not even be the appearance of impropriety.

I have seen some of the underbelly of the tactics used by the government related directly to Marty's case and other governmental abuses comitted by a combination of County and Federal government authorities. Saddle up in Suffolk.

I'll remember your story. Best of luck.
